The short version. All I Need has no server and no account. Your trips, lists and notes stay on your phone. We cannot read them, lose them or hand them to anyone, because there is nowhere for them to go.
What stays on your phone
All of it. Trips, dates, destinations, the lists you choose, every item and quantity, anything you type into notes, and the hotel, flight, transport and contact details you add. This is held in the app's own storage on your device and is never sent to us.
Your settings, including units, appearance and reminder times, stay there too.
What leaves your phone, and why
Three things, all of them to the same weather service, and none of them carrying anything that identifies you.
| When | What is sent | Where |
|---|---|---|
| You search for a destination | The place name you typed, nothing else | Open-Meteo geocoding |
| A trip needs a forecast | The destination's coordinates and your travel dates | Open-Meteo forecast |
| A trip starts beyond the 16 day forecast window | The same coordinates and dates, to fetch typical seasonal weather | Open-Meteo archive |
These requests carry no name, no email, no account, no device identifier and nothing from your packing list. Open-Meteo receives a location and a date range, the same as any anonymous visitor to a weather site. Their own terms govern what they do with that request, and you can read them at open-meteo.com.
Sync, if you turn it on
Sync is part of Pro and it is off until you enable it. When it is on, your trips are copied into your own iCloud account on Apple devices, or your own Google Drive on Android. That is your storage, under your account, governed by Apple's or Google's terms. We have no access to it and no copy of it.
One thing goes to your own iCloud on iPhone even with sync off: two yes or no facts, whether your free trip has been used and whether you had the app before the first trip free plan. They are there so that deleting and reinstalling the app does not hand out a second free trip. They are not trips, they hold nothing about where you go, and they never reach us.
Sync works between your Apple devices, or between your Android devices. It does not work between an iPhone and an Android phone, and that is deliberate. Doing it properly would mean running a server and holding an account for you, which would cost this page its first paragraph.
Paying for Pro
The purchase is handled entirely by Apple or Google. Your card details, billing address and identity never reach us and we never ask for them. We receive only the confirmation from the store that a purchase exists on that account, which is what unlocks Pro.
What we do not do
- No account. No sign up, no password, no email address required to use the app.
- No analytics and no tracking. There is no measurement SDK in the app, no advertising identifier is read, and nothing reports back how you use it.
- No advertising, and no data sold or shared with anyone, because we hold nothing to sell.
- No profile of you exists anywhere in this product.
Children
The app collects nothing from anyone, which includes children. There is no account to create, nothing to submit, and no way for a child to disclose anything to us through it.
This website
Everything above is about the app. This website is a different thing, and it is measured. allineed.app runs Google Analytics, which sets a cookie in your browser and reports back which pages were opened, roughly where in the world from, and which link or search brought you. It is how we know whether anyone is reading this.
That measurement stops at the edge of the website. It has no reach into the app, no way to see a trip or a packing list, and no connection to anything on your phone. The app carries no measurement code at all, which is the claim that matters and the one you can verify by watching what it talks to.
If you would rather not be counted, any content blocker or your browser's own tracking protection will stop it, and the site works exactly the same without it.
Deleting your data
Delete a trip inside the app and it is gone. Delete the app and what is on the phone goes with it, with two small exceptions, both in your own accounts and never with us. On iPhone, the two yes or no facts above stay in your own iCloud and in your phone's keychain. On Android, if your phone's backup is on, Android keeps a copy of your trips, the app's settings and whether your free trip has been used, in your own Google account, so a reinstall picks up where you left off. There is no copy on our side to request the erasure of, and no form to fill in, because we never had it.
If you turned sync on, remove the app's data from iCloud or from Google Drive in your own account settings, the same way you would for any other app.
Changes to this page
If what leaves your phone ever changes, this page changes first and the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant, the app will say so before it takes effect.
Who "we" is
All I Need is made and sold by dymn.io LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, United States. dymn builds small single purpose apps, and the same two rules apply to every one of them: a single payment rather than a subscription, and nothing collected.
The company is American. The seven people are not, or not only. More at dymn.io.
